The purpose of the “Feed the Hornets” mission effort is to provide the Gatesville ISD varsity football players with a hearty and nutritious meal before home football games. Some of the local football players do not have the opportunity to have a nourishing meal at home prior to the football game and FBCG stepped in to provide healthful food and friendship. The church members who cook and serve strive to be role models for these young men by showing acts of service and Christian fellowship.
